The University of Vermont is a comprehensive public university in the United States. Founded in 1791, it is the oldest university in Vermont and is located in Burlington, VT. In the 2014 USNEWS comprehensive university rankings in the United States, it ranked 82nd alongside Stevens Institute of Technology, State University of New York at Stony Brook, and Texas Christian University.
