G.H. Bass & Co.
G.H. Bass & Co. is a classic footwear brand with a long history in the United States, which originated in 1876. Its founder, George Henry Bass, became an apprentice to a leather craftsman at the age of eighteen; in March 1876, he purchased part of the stock of E.P. Packard & Co., of which he became a member in the following years. He became a wholly-owned shareholder of the company and renamed the company G.H. Bass & Co. after his own name. The brand's shoes are not the most fashionable in style, but they are very well made and of excellent quality.
